Jamicia Anne "Gigi" Fletcher Cowan, 74, of Muldrow, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was born October 14, 1942 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas the daughter of Orvil Andrew "Dock" Fletcher and Madeline "Mack" (Thornton) Fletcher. She was married to Charles Edward Cowan on June 30, 1962 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 4, 2016. She retired from Exide Battery and was a member of First Baptist Church in Muldrow.
Survivors are:
1 daughter: Jacinta Yoakum and husband, Lance of Muldrow, OK
2 sons: Preston Cowan of Muldrow, OK and Jason Cowan and wife, Kelly of Birmingham, AL
5 grandchildren: Elizabeth Cowan, Mason Dillard, Randa Winstead, Raelea Winstead, and Paige Yoakum
2 great grandchildren: Mary Grace and Anthony
2 sisters: Bonnie B. Rogers of Muldrow, OK and Connie Fletcher Daily of Muldrow, OK
1 brother: Allen Fletcher and wife, Christine of Roland, OK
several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Cowan; her parents, Orvil Andrew "Dock" Fletcher and Madeline "Mack" (Thornton) Fletcher; and 1 brother, Carl Fletcher
Funeral service is Friday, September 8, 2017 at 10 am at First Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial is at Memory Garden Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow.
Viewing is Thursday from 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow. The family will greet from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
