Pauline Grace Gipson Burr-Michenovich 
1930-2008

 Mrs. Burr-Michenovich was born February 12, 1930 in Muldrow, Oklahoma, the daughter of Tillman William Gipson and Jewell Bell Smith Gipson.  She attended Leuzinger High School in Hawthorne, Ca., She enjoyed being a room mother at Carl Steele Elementary & helper at the Tordondo Little Leage Snack Shack in Torrance , Ca., Pauline enjoyed bowling & was league champion in 1962.  Pauline's husband was a Pearl Harbor Survivor & they spent many Dec. 7th's in Honolulu observing Pearl Harbor ceremonies.  The favorite part of their Hawaii trips was always an evening with Don Ho. Don made sure Mickey & Pauline received VIP treatment & Pauline made sure to take Don one of her famous homemade fruitcakes which he promptly opened and ate during the show.  Pauline loved spending time with her grandchildren & especially taking them to Redondo Beach Pier for lunch at Old Tony's.  Pauline passed this life on May 8, 2008 in Torrance, California after having attained the age of 78 years, 2 months, and 26 days. 

Survivors are:

Husband: Thomas of the home

2 daughters: Diana Snyder of Mansfield, Oh. and Linda Burr of Lakewood, Ca.

1 son: Cole Burr of Temecula, Ca.

5 grandchildren: Lisa, John, Kelley, Katie and Ian

1 brother: Bill Gipson of Riverside, Ca.

she was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother: Don Gipson
