Edna Mae Brewer, 76 of Gans, Oklahoma passed away May 5, 2016 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was born July 10, 1939 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of Rex Lockhart and Lela Mae Tillery Lockhart. She was married to Freddie H. Brewer on December 27, 1956 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Mrs. Brewer was a retired school teacher and of the baptist faith.

Husband: Freddie H. Brewer of the home
2 sisters: Eula Peggy Andrews of Braxton, MS and Judy Rodgers of Sallisaw, OK
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters: Rexine Hill and Rosemary Wackerly and 2 brothers: Ergie Lockhart and L.H. "Lance" Lockhart
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Gans Bible Church under the direction of
Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gans Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Jerry Don Holder, Kenneth Holder, Brett Holder, Alan Holder, David Sparkman, and Jimmy Ray Andrews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shayne Rodgers, Ronnie Lockhart, Sammy Lockhart, Ron Lockhart, and Kevin Powers.
Viewing will be 10 am - 8 pm Saturday, 2 - 8 pm Sunday, 10 am - 8 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet friends Monday 6 - 8 pm.
