Ada Real Blount was born to Alan and Ida Real, February 23, 1925 at home in McKey, Oklahoma, she left this world for her heavenly reward on February 26, 2013 at her home in McKey, Oklahoma. She grew up in McKey, Oklahoma, where she attended McKey School. Ada was a charter member of McKey Baptist Church along with her parents. She married Coy Blount on July 20, 1943 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, soon after he left to serve in WWII. She worked hard while he was gone serving our country and she also worked as a riveter, building planes. She always worked hard whether at home in the garden, with cattle or in factories. She retired from Riverside Furniture but did not stay retired working as a Home Care Provider and also getting involved with the Granny Program at Sallisaw School. At the age of 75 she received a lifelong goal and received her GED. She was a member of First Baptist Church of McKey, loved attending the McKey School reunions and was the best cook ever.
She leaves to mourn her passing:

Christy Sanders, Lisa and Alvin Hahn, Kathy Dawn Blount Ozeroglu, Marty and Jessica Blount, Derrick Blount
and Jacob and Chanisty Blount;
13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband,
Coy Blount; a son, Jay Blount; 8 brothers, Jim Wiley, AC, Monroe, Carol, Harold, Silas and Adam Real; and 3 sisters, Rosie Newton, Hattie Dotson and Valerie Bell.
She also leaves many friends and family
whom she loved very much.
