Leora "Dolly" Blackwood, 92 of Muldrow, Oklahoma passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was born June 14, 1924 near Roland, Oklahoma, the daughter of Mary Ethel (Boyd) Smith and Clint Smith. She married John Elmon Blackwood on March 15, 1941 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1996 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Mrs. Blackwood was a housewife and a member of Scott Pentecostal Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

Phyllis Sutton of Fort Smith, AR and fiancé Ross Eaton of Carthage, MO,
and Connie Bruce and husband, Ronald of Muldrow, OK
6 grandchildren: David C. Sims of Ft. Smith, AR, Sherry Dieter of Van Buren, AR, Joanie Kercheval of Leesburg, VA, Jim Blackwood of Roland, OK, Sean Trammell of Ft. Smith, AR and Kevin Bruce of Muldrow, OK
7 great grandchildren: Shelby, Alexander and Trenton Trammell, Noah Dieter, Hannah Blackwood, Evan and Dylan Kercheval
1 sister: Johnnie Bernice Groves of Ft. Smith, AR
She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Blackwood, Sr., 1 son: John E. Blackwood, Jr., her parents: Clint and Ethel Smith, 1 sister: Louise Hayes and 1 brother: Finis LeRoy Smith
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Czarnikow Cemetery, near Muldrow, Oklahoma.
Active pallbearers will be Curt Dieter, David Wilson, Ronald Wilson, Sr., Ronald Wilson, Jr., and Greg Wise
Viewing will be 1 - 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow, Ok where the family will greet 10 - 11 am Wednesday.
