Effie Bee Benton was born October 17, 1944 in Alma, Arkansas the daughter of Lige and Ruby Lee (Stewart) Taylor. She was married to Benjamin Benton, Jr. on April 7, 1964. He preceded her in death on November 25, 2005. Mrs. Benton passed this life on December 4, 2015 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 71. She leaves to mourn her passing: 2 daughters: Janet Benton of Muldrow, OK and Rhonda Treminio of Muldrow, OK 1 son: Chris Benton of Muldrow, OK 2 grandchildren: Brashun Harrison and Tashana Leon Mother: Ruby Taylor of Vian, OK 3 sisters: Shirley Hinkle and Chester of Ft. Smith, AR, Wanda Taylor of Vian, OK  and Marilyn Taylor and Steve of Ft. Smith, AR 2 brothers: L.G. Taylor and Donna of Ft. Smith, AR and Donald Taylor of Houston, TX brother in law: Charles Benton sister in law: Minnie Jones host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends She was preceded in death by her husband, father, 2 brothers: Lige and Matthew Taylor and 1 sister: Sandra Taylor and sisters in law: Leatta Nance and Ezola Benton Funeral service is Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11 am at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial will be at Center Point Cemetery in Muldrow. Viewing will be Friday 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Active Pallbearers are L.G.
