Mr. William Taylor "Bill" Bennett was born March 10, 1941 in Stoney Point, Oklahoma, the son of William Cody Bennett and Retta Brown Bennett. He married Doris Nell Arnall Bennett on September 10, 1966 in Blackgum, Oklahoma. Bill passed this life on December 6, 2007 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 66 years, 8 months and 26 days.
He leavs to mourn his passing:
wife: Doris of the home;
2 step-children: Karen Simmons of Vian, Ok., and Larry Smith of Vian, Ok.;
mother: Retta Bennett of Braggs, Ok.;
3 grandchildren;
9 great grandchildren;
4 sisters: Liane Erkkila of Muskogee, Ok., Gail Warner of Braggs, Ok.,
Martha Slape of Braggs, Ok. and Paula Page of Braggs, Ok.;
3 brothers: Joe Bennett of Muskogee, Ok., David Bennett of Vian, Ok.,
and James V. Bennett of Vian, Ok.;
several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by 1 step son Johnny Smith and a granddaughter Jolie Wingo.
