Obituary

Arnold "Red" Bennett was born September 1, 1929 in Gore, Oklahoma, the son of Gleason George Bennett and Thelma Irene Warren Bennett.  He was a retired Iron Worker and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  Mr. Bennett passed this life on February 14, 2010 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 80 years, 5 months and 13 days.

Survivors are:

2  sons: Richard Allen Bennett of California
and John David Bennett of Florida

1 daughter: Sandy Smith of Gore, Ok.

several grandchildren and great grandchildren

4 brothers:  Fred "Bud" Bennett, of Owasso, Ok.,
Gleason "Honk" Bennett of Gore, Ok.
Wallace "Pete" Bennett of Gore, Ok.
and Charles Bennett of Gore, Ok.

several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents
and 1 brother: A.W. Bennett
