Mrs. Faye Simpson Batey was born January 19, 1927 in El Dorado, Arkansas. The daughter of Mr. John Henry Simpson and Mrs. Opal Marie Cole Simpson. She was married to
Mr. Elmer Franklin Batey. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1967. Faye passed this life on December 22, 2007 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of
80 years, 11 months and 3 days.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
4 daughters: Delores and husband Arthur Allen of Muldrow, Ok.,
Doris and husband Danny Maples of Cedarville, Ar.,
June Batey of Muldrow, Ok., and Tina Shelby of Arlington, Tx.;
2 sons: Jim Batey of Muldrow, Ok., and Teddy and wife Kim Sigel of Muldrow, Ok.;
15 grandchildren: Dena, Christy, Jody, Tonya, Tammy, Tommy, Johnny, Regina, Danny, Henry, Ernie, Krystal, Adriene, Ben, Sean, Christopher, and Justin;
30 great grandchildren;
3 great great grandchildren;
several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; 1 daughter: Alene Ulery, 1 son: John Batey;
1 grandson; her parents; and 3 brothers: John Henry, Ernest Hodge, and Glen Tippey. |
