Mrs. Bane was born March 11, 1928 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Laurens E. Orchard and Lucille E. Rohwer Orchard. She was a graduate of Benson High School in Omaha, Nebraska and attended University of Omaha for 2 years. She was married to Charles T. Bane on Feb. 28, 1948 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was an active member of Vian United Methodist Church and UMW where she held several offices and was the devotional leader for the Farm Bureau Womens Committee of Sequoyah County. Mrs. Bane passed this life on April 11, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 80 years and 1 month.
