Obituary
|
Rev. Hoover Bailey was born July 25, 1930 in Brent community, Oklahoma, the son of Albert "Bert" Bailey and Edna Burcham Bailey. He married Norma Katherine Young Bailey in 1950 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on December 1, 1984 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Rev. Bailey passed this life on May 31, 2009 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 78 years, 10 months and
6 days.
Survivors are:
1 daughter and son in law:
Linda and Marvin Petree of Roland, Ok.
2 sons and 1 daughter in law:
Wayne Bailey of Sallisaw, Ok.
and John and Kathy Bailey of Sallisaw, Ok.
14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren
2 sisters: Icie Collins of Mount Ida, Ar.
and Minnie Turner of Ft. Smith, Ar.
1 brother: Homer Bailey of Fresno, Ca.
several other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his wife: Norma Bailey,
