Clara Darcus Armstrong was born September 16, 1925 in Stilwell, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jasper Willis Arnold and Rebecca Jane Funburg Arnold. She was married to Eugene Levi "Gene" Armstrong on May 13, 1949 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1982 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. Armstrong passed this life on November 8, 2011 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having
attained the age of 86 years, 1 month and 23 days.
Survivors are:
2 sons: Ray Armstrong of Sallisaw, Oklahoma
and Anthony Armstrong of Sallisaw, Oklahoma
3 grandchildren: Rebecca York of North Little Rock, AR,
Cassie Londono of Sallisaw, OK
and Steven Armstrong of Sallisaw, OK
3 great grandchildren: Brittany and Seth York,
and Steven Fysher
several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents
and 2 grandchildren: Tyler and Jody Armstrong
