J.D. Anthony, 87, of Gore, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 in Gore. He was born August 6, 1928 in Braggs, Oklahoma the son of James Monroe Anthony and Sarah Frances (Bridgers) Anthony. He married Marian Virginia Rowe on July 23, 1946 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was farmer, cattle rancher and a christian.

3 daughters and sons in law: Darla and Lynn Chisum of New Caney, TX, Elizabeth and Billy Tyner of Stillwater, OK and Jayne and Troy Spears of Gore, OK
5 sons and 4 daughters in law: Jim and Billie Anthony of Gore, OK, Kevin and Cathy Anthony of Little Elm, TX, Jon and Shelly Anthony of Porter, OK, George and Chrissa Anthony of Elm Springs, AR and Slaton Anthony of Mount Vernon, IA
20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; his parents, James and Sarah Anthony; 1 granddaughter, Jeni Chubick; 1 grandson, Joey Anthony; and 1 great grandson, Cody Shanks
Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 10 am at White Chapel Church in Gore. Burial will be at Gore Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Gore.
Viewing will be Monday from 1 - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Gore.
