Mary C. Amos was born January 17, 1926 in Idabel, Oklahoma the daughter of Richard Bolen Carter and Rosie Mae (Mann) Carter. She was married to Benjamin Franklin Amos on October 5, 1941 in Short, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1998. Mrs. Amos passed this life on April 30, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 91.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin; her parents, Richard and Rosie Carter; 2 sisters, Bonnie Deshields and Edna Ives; and 5 brothers, Burton, Dan, Ran, Ralph and Ben Carter
Graveside service is Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 1 pm at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Viewing is Tuesday from noon - 8 pm and Wednesday from 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
